REASON #1: THERE’S NO BETTER BUSINESS MODEL THAN BLOGGING
Have you ever had this dream of starting your own business? Im sure you have because who hasn’t. When it comes to starting a business, there’s no better business model than blogging. Ive done a lot of research on this lately and my biggest reason for diving in and actually kickstarting my blog is because blogging is NOT DEAD. Let’s take a look at your traditional business model. Let’s say you wanted to open a mom and pop restaurant. First, you would have to rent a space. Then you would have to stock the restaurant with everything you need to do business: food, drinks, tables, chairs, silverware. Then you would have to hire staff to work the floor… and that’s all before you have even opened for business!
Of course if this is your dream go for it and go all in but if your looking to start a business without the crazy investment and marketing just start with a blog. With blogging, you don’t have to start with a product or service. Instead, you can start by building relationships with your readers. Work first to figure out exactly who you are talking to, what your audiences needs are, and what you want to say.
REASON #2: IT’S NEVER BEEN EASIER TO BLOG
Can we please take a moment and talk about technology? Technology has made online influence bigger than ever. With the technology on the market today, you can get started — even if you have minimal tech skills and minimal cash to invest. Today, you can do things that used to be reserved for big companies with big budgets, like building a custom website from scratch or building an email campaign. Thanks to this new world of technology things that use to take a crazy amount of time and money can now be done in less time for less money. Nowadays there are so many ways to build your own website. I personally went with Bluehost because they made it so easy to get started not only for an affordable price but setting up my blog with step by step made it that much easier. At the rate technology is growing makes blogging life that much easier and another reason why there’s never been a better time to be a blogger.
REASON #3: The potential is UNLIMITED
Today, there are more people online than ever before — and that number is only increasing every day. Thanks to that little device you are probably holding in your hand called a smartphone, we have access to the internet any and everywhere. People are spending more time online than ever! And as long as the internet keeps growing those opportunities and the potential for bloggers will continue to grow right along with it. The internet is so incredibly large and it continues to expand at an insane rate. That means that not only is blogging not dead—it is only just beginning!
