Christmas Shopping on A Budget

Either you dread it or you love it, but Christmas will be here before we know it, which means it’s time for gift buying and giving. Here are a few tips I love to shop on a budget and not make you Scrooge!

Make a list of the people you plan on buying gifts for, and don’t be scared to make that list a little shorter this year if you need to! If you have to, only buy for immediate family. Many people overspend on Christmas gifts, and you can easily feel guilty when it comes to holiday spending. You can even consider a homemade gift, there are awesome and inexpensive ideas on Pinterest. Remember it’s the thought that counts…….not the price tag.

Shop at discount stores! You guys know I love me some Goodwill and the amazing thing is you can actually find brand new items here. A few other of my favorite affordable stores are TJ Maxx, Ross, and Gabes because you can always find something for everyone, whether it’s a nice candle for Grandmother or a few toys for your wonderful niece and nephews!

Check Facebook Market Place, subscribe to your favorite stores email list so your first to know the good deals, even social media because around this time so many people are sharing the amazing deals happening now.

I hope you enjoyed these few tips so you can make sure you start the New Years off with money in your pocket. Remember this time year isn’t always about the presents. Happy Holidays!
